Klara Mosterd is a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon since 2009. . She is professor in Oncodermatology and principal investigator of many clinical multicenter trials as well as molecular research concerning the etiology of BCC’s. She is working at the Maastricht University Medical Centre, a tertiary referral centre for complex dermato-oncology. She is member of the multidisciplinary head and neck team and responsible for the work-up and treatment of patients with skin cancer referred to the team. Furthermore, she is certified teacher for Mohs’ surgery and also teaching surgical skills to residents in Dermatology. Over the years she has gained excessive experience in surgical skills such as Mohs’ and reconstructive surgery of advanced skin cancer in the head and neck region. Furthermore she is trained in diagnosis of BCC with optical coherence tomography. She was founder and chair of a Dutch reconstructive course for dermatologists (Face it), founder and teacher national curricular courses for residents in Dermatology. She is also member and chair of the multidisciplinary team in the Dutch expert centre for Gorlin patients
